Located in the heart of Northbridge on the ground floor of Attika Hotel is Yefsi at Attika. Yefsi is an authentic Greek cafe which serves traditional, homely and flavoursome food with a modern twist. At Yefsi, the menu is centred around the Greek style of ‘meze’ eating which is to celebrate the joy of sharing good food with people.

On a Sunday morning, my parents and I visited Yefsi for our brunch fix. To start, we shared a Trio of House-made Dips with Pita and Olives ($16). The pita was fresh in flavour and perfect together with the dips. It’s hard to decide which is our favourite but we do love the Melitzanosalata which is the eggplant dip. So much yums! 

Next, we had the Island Omelette ($16) and loved every bite of it. It was perfectly fluffy and full of delicious flavours from the feta and spinach. It is hard to find a cafe that nails an omelette. Yefsi’s omelette is on point!

If you love a hearty dish with meat, you will love the Souvlaki Skewers ($22). Choose from a choice of chicken, lamb, pork or vegetable skewers with salad, rustic chips, tzatziki and pita. We chose the lamb and pork skewers and they were so juicy and flavoursome. The greek salad on the side added a refreshing touch and the rustic chips were so tasty!

As we were feeling quite full, we were not planning to have dessert. However, the friendly owner offered us a Greek Cheesecake on the house which was very lovely of her. This cheesecake was the perfect finish to our meal. It was so light and fluffy.

It is really great to see a cafe in Perth serving Greek food for breakfast, brunch and lunch. The food here is delicious and hearty and the service is welcoming and friendly. Overall, we really enjoyed our dining experience here and we are looking forward to be back soon. Highly recommend!
