Drift Kitchen is located in the suburbs of Scarborough. With their cabinet stocked with delicious fresh grab-and-go brekky bites, snacks, coffee and drinks, Drift Kitchen has become a go to for locals on their daily commute to work or before heading to the beach. They also do offer a full breakfast menu that will tantalise your tastebuds too!
Before heading off to work, Elwyn and I had breakfast sorted at Drift. Elwyn had the Eggs Benedict ($18.50) which comprises of free range poached eggs, sauteed baby spinach, house-made hollandaise and chargrilled brioche and smoked salmon. Elwyn’s poached eggs were spot on perfect with a yellow golden runny yolk. The house-made hollandaise was creamy complementing well with the smoked salmon and poached eggs. Overall, a delicious brekky dish to kickstart a Friday!
I had the Acai Granola ($15) which consists oF Brazilian acai and antike korn granola with shaved toasted coconut and seasonal fruit (GF). Yes, they also do a dairy free option too! The Acai Granola is bursting full of freshness and flavour, giving me a refreshing start to the day!
Brekky is not complete without coffee in the morning. I am sure some will agree with me on this one! We had coffees each to complement our brekky and they were silky smooth. Micrology Coffee Roaster supplies their coffee beans to Drift Kitchen. Whether you are a Scarborough local or stopping by in the area on the way to the beach, head to Drift Kitchen to get your brekky and coffee fix.
