After finishing our Blue Mountains tour with a river cruise back to Darling Harbour, it was time for dinner at Hurricane’s Grill. It has been a long day exploring the Blue Mountains and we were pretty hungry at the end of the day.
Hurricane’s Grill is located on level 2 of Harbourside Shopping Centre. When we arrived, we were lucky to be able to be seated in 5 minutes without a booking. I must also say that the restaurant was already busy when we first arrived! We decided to share a full rack of pork ribs ($44.90) with baked potato with sour cream and chives as our sides. Oh and not forgetting that we were also provided some bibs to put on from getting our clothes dirty! I must say that the pork ribs at Hurricane’s Grill were delicious. It was grilled to tender and it was basted and glazed well with a lovely hint of sweetness to the ribs. Finger licking good.

We also shared a Fish of the day ($34) which is a grilled snapper from the Sydney Fish Market with a side serve of chips. The snapper was grilled to perfection. It was fresh, juicy and flavoursome, with its slightly crisp skin on the outside.

Overall, we were very satisfied with our food at Hurricane’s Grill. The star of the night will definitely be the finger licking good ribs. The service was also efficient and friendly. With views overlooking Darling Harbour and good ribs, now I know why Hurricane’s Grill is so popular among locals in Sydney.
Mel’s Rating : mmmm (excellent)
Those ribs look amazing! So much more caramelised and glistening than the ones I had from Hippo Creek!
Yeah the ribs at Hurricanes were basted really well and had so much flavour! It was so good 🙂
Sudden ribs crave!
