To all the meat lovers and carnivores out there (yes, I am one of them), you are in for a treat at Ribs by Vintry.
As the name of the restaurant suggests, Ribs by Vintry is famous for its ribs and meaty dishes. The food at Ribs by Vintry are bold, big and comforting. If you are not a big fan of meat, they also do offer pasta, fish and poultry. Therefore, Ribs by Vintry was the perfect venue to hold our dinner and catch up session with our family friends before leaving back to Perth.
To start off the feast, we had the 200g Roast Pork (RM18) and Caramelised Roast Pork (RM20) from the Classic Ribs Tapas. The Roast Pork was executed perfectly with a crispy crackling. The Caramelised Roast Pork is wok-fried in a flavourful superior soy sauce and caramelised with sugar. Crunch. Crunch. Crunch. Just like the traditional roast pork it was crispy, with a well-balanced flavour of saltiness and sweet. Which one did I prefer? To be honest, I love them both.

For something different, I had the Southern US Ribs (RM49) which have been bourbon glazed and coffee infused. It was delicious and full of flavour from the glaze. The end result? A spotless bone.

I had a taste test of the BBQ Pork Ribs (RM45), a classic favourite. You can’t go wrong with ordering BBQ Pork Ribs. The Ribs had a great BBQ flavour and was very tender. Not forgetting the sides, the mash potato was very soft, creamy and fluffy and the coleslaw was crisp and fresh in flavour. A great complement to the BBQ Pork Ribs.

Here are a few snapshots of what our family friends ordered. It seems that everyone on the table enjoyed their own dish, including the kids.
Grilled Lamb Cutlets (RM69)
Rosemary Baby Iberico (RM79)
Chicken Pesto Aglio Olio Pasta (RM32)
The boys had the Rib Eye Steak (RM69) with black pepper sauce. I must admit, the Rib Eye Steak looks really good too.

For dessert, I had the Rum and Raisin Waffle (RM19) and the kids had the Molten Chocolate Cake (RM18) and Chocolate Brownie (RM15). The Chocolate Brownie and the Molten Chocolate Cake was the favourite among the kids. The Rum and Raisin Waffle was very fluffy with a distinct Rum flavour accompanied with a sprinkle of raisins, which complemented well with the vanilla ice cream. A great dessert to end a hearty meal.

Overall, our family friends enjoyed the food at Ribs by Vintry and everyone on the table was very satisfied and happy with their food. It was a meaty dinner accompanied by a great catch up session with my family friends. My verdict? I highly recommend Ribs by Vintry for some good slab of ribs and they also do have an extensive wine list to match your food too. If you love your meat, Ribs by Vintry is the place to be.
