Situated in the middle of the Wembley suburb along Herdsman Parade lies a little cafe behind a Laundromat called “Pearfect Pantry”. Yes, it is a hidden gem and it is quite easy to miss it. A handy hint – keep your eyes out for the Laundromat and you should be able to see signs pointing you to the right direction.
When Matt and I arrived at Pearfect Pantry, we realised that we were half an hour late and had missed out on breakfast. But that’s ok, because we were still keen on lunch.
I had the 5 Spice Crispy Pork Belly Baguette with Pickled Vegetable and Hoisin Sauce ($15). The Pork Belly Baguette reminded me of a traditional Vietnamese Banh Mi. It was very generous in portion and the pork belly was crispy and full of flavour. Matt agreed that the pork belly was really good too! Overall, the 5 Spice Crispy Pork Belly Baguette was delicious and fresh in flavour. After seeing what I ordered, Matt said that he would actually go back to Pearfect Pantry and have the 5 Spice Crispy Pork Belly Baguette to himself!

Matt had the Chicken Wrap ($8). Here is Matt’s review of the Chicken Wrap – I think the presentation could have been better. The Chicken Wrap tasted really nice and it was light. The ingredients went well together and the wrap was toasted perfectly too.
Surrounded by mismatched and vintage furniture, decoratives and books, Pearfect Pantry creates a welcoming, comfortable and homely atmosphere to customers with its friendly and efficient service. A great place to catch up with friends over coffee, lunch, brunch or breakfast. My tip to you – If you don’t want to miss out on breakfast, make sure you come before 11.30 am!
I always think that hidden restaurants and cafes are good. Well, for Pearfect Pantry, this is true. Yes we will be back to Pearfect Pantry again to give their breakfast a try. This means that we will be back for Round 2! Oh, and I hear they serve good coffee too!
